Data methodology and coverage

How Platform organises figures, calculates comparisons and labels delayed or missing data.

Updated 17 October 2026

Coverage and verification

Platform combines published IPO and market information into common fields. Coverage varies by issue and section. Public listings, issuer offer documents, exchange notices and registrar records can help readers verify the terms of a specific issue. Direct official filing and allotment links remain available where known.

Data collection is automated. A displayed figure is not proof that a person has independently audited it, nor is Platform an official exchange feed. This page explains the method without publishing our collection-provider directory.

Time and freshness

Background refresh normally runs about every ten minutes. A snapshot time records the assembled dataset; a field’s own update time may be older. Where an update fails, retained market readings keep their original timestamps and stale warnings. Check the time beside the value you intend to use.

Missing and conflicting values

An unavailable value is not zero. Aggregation reconciles overlapping records and can retain prior data when an update is incomplete. Formatting, timing and mapping errors can still occur. Confirm important amounts and deadlines in current issue documents.

Calendar lists and budget filters

“Today” uses the Indian calendar date. Closing-today entries describe the published date, not an assurance that a broker still accepts bids. Upcoming-this-week covers confirmed dates remaining in the Monday–Sunday week. The ₹15,000 filter includes only open or upcoming mainboard issues with a known computed minimum within that budget. It excludes rumoured issues and is not a suitability assessment.
